Terra S.A. (2009), his debut work as playwright, won a contest that showcased it across the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
O Salto (2011) also toured Rio de Janeiro and received multiple nominations for Best Play, Best Direction, Best Actor, and Best Script at various theater festivals, winning Best Script.
Desditas Cariocas (2022), a collection of short stories inspired by Nelson Rodrigues, was published by UBook to critical acclaim from both critics and readers.
In 2023, Rodrigo released O Amante/The Lover, followed by Se Eu Fosse Nelson/If I Were Nelson in 2025 — both performed in Brazil and well-received, with the latter earning a Best Script award.
Most recently, Rodrigo’s feature screenplay Kill Me Softly was a finalist at the Cannes Script Festival and garnered an Honorable Mention at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, with additional festivals considering the project.
